Saving a non-writeable file?

#1

One thing that drives me crazy in ST2 (Dev 2144 build) is that when you try to edit and then save a file that is not writeable you get a “unable to save dialog”. On every other editor i’ve ever used on a mac at least, this normally pops up a prompt to authenticate to a user that is able to save/edit this file. My workflow with ST2 is to open the file in finder, and then open the file’s properties and change the permissions so I can write to it. This is very cumbersome and time consuming and seems to be solved elegantly in every other mac editor, why not ST2???

Cheers!

I will be voting for this as well. This should be done for Linux as well.
