Update html.sublime-snippet

Update html.sublime-snippet

Postby rchl on Tue Jan 17, 2012 11:24 pm

Please add <!DOCTYPE html> to the html.sublime-snippet. It's pretty bad to have a skeleton that defaults to a code that triggers quirks mode. Gives bad example.

If you use the Zen coding plugin, typing html:5 autocompletes to a skeleton with that doctype. Not sure if that helps.

I do but that's not my point really. I want default to be sane.

+1 agree, it should be default in the HTML snippet as I find myself having to do both quite a lot in my HTML files
