Hi!!

how can I save my html files with UTF-8 encoding??

I need to use special characters like àñòìó, etc
But when I preview in the browser I see just strange characters instead

I have tried File>reopen with encoding> UTF-8, but it does´t work

pleas help

Well, default_encoding is set to UTF-8 “by default”.
Maybe you’ve forgotten a tag?

Check your browser is reading the file using UTF-8, too

My problem seems similar.

I want to include Greek characters in an html file, charset UTF-8. The characters look fine in Notepad++ and render as expected in my browsers. In Sublime2 however the characters appear as boxes. Any ideas what I’m doing incorrectly?

The characters by the way are ἀλλ᾿ ὅτ᾿ ἂν ἡμίονος βασιλεὐς

Maybe you are using a font that doesn’t have Greek characters?

Cool, thanks for that. I thought the font I was using did support Greek but changing the font now has fixed my problem. Forever grateful.
