Hi guys. Sorry if this has been asked before - I did search, but couldn’t find anything.

I’m using ST2 for HTML and CSS, and [literally] the only thing that is bugging me slightly is the automatic “” for selectors and :; for styles. Is there a way to turn this function off…?

Oh yeah, and the double brackets too: {}

I changed what seemed to be the auto-complete [or whatever it was called] in the settings to “false” but had no luck. Nor with copying and pasting this rule set to “false” in the user settings. Then I ran out of ideas…

you may try to delete or change some snippets from Default.sublime-keymap
such as

// Auto-pair quotes
// Auto-pair single quotes
// Auto-pair brackets
…
