Folders and SFTP on startup

#1

New guy here. This is my first post. Coming from three years of Dreamweaver’s code view (ugh!, fn crash after crash) and I’m finally starting to use version control (Git), a new text editor (SB2, obviously) and a local dev environment (MAMP).

Could anyone share how to setup up my preferences so that my project folders and sftp connections startup as well?

cheers,

If you drag a folder into Sublime and then close Sublime, the next time you open it, your folder will be there. Is that what you were getting at?

If you use Sublime SFTP, there is currently no workflow that involves “starting up” connections. As soon as you try to upload or download a file, it will connect.

Yes. It doesn’t do this. I have to go and find my project files. How do I get SB2 to remember which folders were open? Should I create a new project?
