Does the API of sublime text 2 support something like this? This picture is photoshopped of course. And you can see that both panes are viewing exactly the same document for illustration (It can be different docs though). I arbitrarily add some space at the place where I circled, WITHOUT actually changing the document itself.

Is that possible?

If you have wrapping enabled and the line spans past the line, ST will create this arbitrary spacing. However, it’s not API-accessible.
