How to setup the Command Line on MacOS Lion?

Postby gguerini on Tue Apr 03, 2012 5:47 pm

Hey all,

I started to try this apparently amazing text editor but I'm having problems to set up the command line. I read the instructions on this page (http://www.sublimetext.com/docs/2/osx_command_line.html) but the problem is, I don't know how to add the ~/bin directory in my path.

I'm using MacOS Lion. Could you guys please help me?

Thanks a lot!

I found a solution:

Code: Select all
ln -s "/Applications/Sublime Text 2.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl" /usr/bin/subl

It should be fixed in the documentation. There is no need to create an ~/bin folder.
