Suppress default snippets

#1

Hello,

Is there any way to suppress default snippets without deleting them (as they will return on the next install)?
For example, the HTML snippet doesn’t have a DOCTYPE, or meta charset.
I created my own and would like to have the automatically added when pressing TAB instead of being shown both options.
Again, I can delete the default one which will do what I want, but is there a more elegant way of doing this?

Thank you.
