Stop automatic tab locations?

Stop automatic tab locations?

Postby firefusion on Wed Oct 21, 2009 10:22 am

Sometimes the automatic tab locations are very useful and others time they're not. I'd just like to tab in some code without the caret jumping to a new location defined by the previous snippet i entered. Is there a keyboard shortcut or command to quickly enable and disable this behavior?

Press escape to clear all the tab stops set by the previous snippet

By the way, is it possible to make a different color of caret for the foreign languages than english? For example, default color for english (and coding) and when we change language to another one then caret change their color too. I think this is the best indicator of language, which is lacking in the system. But since this is not in the system, it may be possible in our favorite editor?
