I’ve started Using ST2 with Vintage turned on. Works great, except that it seems to jump into visual mode when it shouldn’t, or at least when I don’t want it to.
Examples:
- I close a fold, then open it. The whole fold is now selected in visual mode, so I have to escape out of it to continue working.
- I use CMD-R to jump to somehwere in a file. Visual mode is now on, and I have to escape out of it.
Now perhaps this is intended behavior, and somewhere in the long history of my .vimrc file I changed the standard behavior. If that’s the case, I’d like to know .
But either way, I’m wondering if there’s a way to turn this off. I don’t want to go into selection mode in these (and other) instances, but only when I explicitly want to do so.
