Can't drag and drop selection in OSX

#1

Hi,

Since the feature was released a few builds ago, I cannot get the selection to drag & drop on my mac.
I’m running ST 2203 on OSX 10.6.8 on a MacBook Pro. Here’s the basic case:

I start up a guest account and run ST2 to ensure the default settings & no extra packages.
To be extra certain, I can even put {“drag_text”: true} in my user settings.
Either way, I can’t get selection drag & drop to work.
When I select text and left click on it, nothing special happens.
The cursor doesn’t change to the “drag text” cursor, and the status bar continues to read
“8 characters selected”.

So, am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks.

PS I’ve used ST2 on another machine (a PC) where this works, so I know what I’m looking for.

Same here (Linux). Selecting text and clicking loses the selection (basically the old behavior). drag_text is set to ‘true’.

This also isn’t working for me on Linux (Ubuntu, 64 bit)

I’m experiencing the same problem on OSX 10.6.8 SublimeText 2.0.1 (2217), with ‘“drag_text”: true’ option set. Even tried setting to ‘false’, then back to ‘true’, without any luck…

its not that it is “not working” on Linux, it is for some reason (still) unimplemented

Ok thanks, I guess it’s not so easy to do. I hope it’ll come though
