Find all under with 'whole word' constraint?

#1

I wonder if there is a way to invoke the “search all under” command (alt+f3) with the “whole word” constraint? That is, when match_selection in preferences is set to true (the default), and all occurrences of the word are highlighted, I could select all of those, and only those.

For example:

str str str_str

If I double-click “str” on the first line, two occurrences of “str” are highlighted (first and second lines). But if I hit alt+f3 (find all under), two parts of “str_str” are also selected, which is not desired in my use-case (I’d rather have selected only the bits which were highlighted). Or is there any other way to achieve the kind of selection capability I described?
