selecting expressions between parens/braces/brackets

selecting expressions between parens/braces/brackets

Postby cocoadog on Fri Aug 31, 2012 11:58 am

Other text editors let me select a parenthesized expression by double-clicking either of the parentheses. Likewise an expression between curly braces or square brackets. Some editors include the delimiting punctuation in the selection, some only select the text *inside* the punctuation, and I believe I've seen some that offer a preference to choose between these two behaviors.

Is there a way to do this in Sublime Text? I did not see a setting for it in the default Settings.

Code: Select all
ctrl+shift+m

One time for selecting text inside the delimiter, one more time to include delimiter.
And so on to expand to outer delimiter, like [xxx, (ggg, jjj)]
