Save button - where is it?

#1

This must be the dumbest question I have ever asked :blush:

Is there a tool bar with a save button, redo etc ala n++ and if there is how do I turn it on?

There is no such thing.

you have:

File -> Save / Ctrl+S
Edit -> Undo | Redo / Ctrl+Z | Ctrl+Y

Thanks

That is tedious… I like the notepad save icon as it tells me as I tab through my files which ones I have altered.

So? In Sublime you don’t even have to tab through them to see which ones are altered - in tab bar and side bar next to their name the “x” icon on the close button changes to “o”.

You can have something even better by adding this to your preferences:

"highlight_modified_tabs": true

The tabs with the blue dots are the unsaved ones. I’m using the Soda Light theme but you will have something similar with the default theme.
