Coursor points in Snippets

Coursor points in Snippets

Hello guys - i was wondering if there is a limit to how many courser point you can use in a snippet ?

Code: Select all
${:Courser Point} The reason why is, that i made this snippet for a table in LaTeX, but it wouldn't trigger: Code: Select all \begin{table}[${1:ht}]   \centering   \caption{\textsl ${2:Beskrivelse}} \begin{tabular}{${3:l} ${4:c}${5:c} ${6:c}${7:c}}      \toprule         & ${8:E} (${9:\si{\mega\electronvolt}}) & ${10:I} (${11:\si{\ampere}}) & ${12:V} (${13:\si{\milli\volt}}) & ${14:K} (${15:\si{\centi\meter}}) \\      \midrule         ${16:} &${17:}  &  ${18:} \pm${19:}  &  ${20:} \pm${21:} &  ${22:} \\ %Husk$ omkring det der står før \pm og efter         ${23:} &${24:}  &  ${25:} \pm${26:}  &  ${27:} \pm${28:} &  ${29:} \\${30:}  &  ${31:} &${32:} \pm ${33:} &${34:} \pm ${35:} &${36:} \\      \bottomrule      \end{tabular}   \label{${37:tbl}:${0:eksempel}}\end{table}

Any of you cleaver minds that can locate the mistake?

I discovered a limit previously of 98 (or was it 99?) - exciting example below . But I believe you should double-escape \\ within a snippet (or even triple-escape \\\ on occasion).

Code: Select all

Re: Coursor points in Snippets

You'll also need to escape % and $here: Code: Select all %Husk$ omkring..

I recommended starting with a much smaller example rather than trying to get your current snippet to work.

BTW If you don't have placeholder text then you could/should use ${1} in place of${1:} - even just $1,$2, etc..

[I think you should have started with smaller examples.. ]

I made quite a few snippets, but never came across errors, like this one ..
But thanks for pointing out the mistake, i corrected it, and the snippet is working just fine now !
