BUG-cannot save a file that starts with ".."

If you choose File->New File, start typing “…” at the first line, then try to Save As… Sublime Text got confused since it names the file with the first characters you type.

Unfortunately it cannot save a file that has “…” in the name.

Well, no, … is an invalid file name. So, change the name to something reasonable when saving the file.

Personally, I find that defaulting the file name to the first line of the file is never, ever what I want and I’d love to see a way to turn that behavior off.

That’s the problem… if the first line of the file is “…”, you won’t even get a save dialog (at least on windows). Actually, the problem occurs with a single “.” as well. Try it.
