Visual indication that a file is not saved

Visual indication that a file is not saved

Postby bhemesath on Sat Oct 06, 2012 2:12 pm

Hello-
I'm a long time Edit Pad Pro user and love what I see in Sublime Text so far. However, when I edit a file there does not seem to be any visual indication that the file has changed. Edit Pad Pro changes the color of the tab to red so you can tell what files haven't been saved.

Am I missing this feature or is it not present in Sublime Text? Thank you-

The default theme changes the close icon:

But you can also add this to your settings:
Code: Select all
"highlight_modified_tabs": true

and you will have this:

Great, thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for.

Question: is there a page/place where I can see this and all other available settings/arguments? I'd like to review them to see what else I may be missing.

You can open the command palette and look for "Preferences: Settings - Default".
