In many other editors one can select text with mouse and drag it to another place in code.
Can we do such a thing in Sublime?
Thanx in advance
Unfortunately, in the win version I haven’t such a thing.

Actually win version have this for quite a while now:
Build 2182
Release Date: 5 March 2012
OSX and Windows: Added text drag and drop
Just make sure you have
"drag_text": true
in your config file
Updating the program helps to solve this. Thanx!
I think this thread is not very useful for others, so I suppose it must be deleted.
Hi
so, ver. 2.0.1 b 2217, “drag_text”: true, but dragging still does not work.
I’ve seen reports about it in couple of places here - I’m on 64bit Linux - is there any known workaround this problem, since I’d like to switch to sublime from NetBeans (don’t use all the features anyway), just being on hold due to drag selection thing
regards
I’m having the same problem. It seems to be a bug, and might be specific to the Linux version. I’m running version 2.0.1, build 2217 on Ubuntu Linux.
@jps not that im using it but seems like it stopped working a few versions back. - OSX dev. 2220
as i said im using the mouse very rarely and im not sure when/how it stopped working.
tried Win portable dev.2220 and it’s working there.
not sure if a package can impact on the feature.
Count me in for dragging support on Linux.
It’s true that many people (including me) don’t use mouse often, but when you do - you want to use the power of Drag’n’Drop
