Changing colors upon typing/scrolling

#1

Hi!

I’m experiencing that Sublime Text 2 (ST2) changes colors of words that are marked by the spell checker with a red snakeline underneath them. This behaviour happens as I scroll or type words, and the color switches between pitch black or radioactive green. Anyone else experiencing this? It’s quite freaking annoying. I’m on a 2012 Macbook pro retina with Mountain Lion, using the Solarized Dark colour scheme, and would love a fix!

Cheers

New to Sublime -- is 'disappearing' spell check text fixed?

Am I the only one who has experienced this kind of behaviour?

Example:
Before color behaviour occurs: grab.by/hL6y
After color behaviour occurs: grab.by/hL6w
Another weird color behaviour: grab.by/hL6E

How often do you experience this? With me it’s everything between every other keyboard input and maybe 5-10 keyboard inputs. One thing is when I’m writing python or any other code where the spell check is better off turned off than on. But when I’m writing for example in LaTeX or taking notes I would really appreciate a working spell check. And then it’s sort of impractical to turn spell check off to avoid the flashing behavior.

There is now a viable workaround – a spell check alternative.
