How to remove commands from command palette?

#1

Hey,

some Plugins duplicate commands, and some commands just let me remove folders from project what I never want to do.
They just fill up the command palette and do me things I dont want because I type to fast.

Is it possible to remove certain commands from the command palette?

Take a look at the “Default.sublime-commands” file in the respective addon folder and comment out those commands you don’t need.

Hm, does anyone know a way to achieve this from the Packages/User directory directly (thus without getting update-issues for the overrides)?
Some ways to filter out entries from plugins?

that is currently not possible, but this feature request seems related:

installing https://packagecontrol.io/packages/OverrideAudit will help alleviate any update issues until then
