I’m running Sublime Text 2 on Ubuntu 12.10, and I’m having trouble using the keyboard shortcut for “column mode.” The documentation page http://www.sublimetext.com/docs/2/column_selection.html indicates that the shortcuts are Ctrl+Alt+Up and Ctrl+Alt+Down. I can’t get column selection to work using these shortcuts. I use column selection a lot, and using the keyboard rather than the mouse would speed things up quite considerably. I thought I might have better luck if I altered the keybinding, but the command does not appear to be available for customization.

Are there any settings that might be preventing me from using this feature, or is this simply a bug that needs to be fixed?
