GLib WARNING

GLib WARNING

Postby eda on Mon Jan 28, 2013 6:47 pm

I've been running the 64-bit build of 2219 since it came out. Several weeks ago I started getting the following message when I start Sublime Text 2 from the linux command line:

(sublime_text:6292): GLib-WARNING **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.34.1/./glib/giounix.c:
412Error while getting flags for FD: Bad file descriptor (9)

The 6292 within the parentheses can also change -- I have seen 31987 and 32323.

I am running 64-bit ubuntu 12.10 with all of the latest updates.

Any ideas? It appears that everything is still working but if I try to logout and login I don't get my desktop back -- I am using gnome 3 -- and the only sure solution is to reboot the machine. I tried running strace on it but the 2nd attempt caused it to continually loop.

Thanks.
