No visible cursor at the insertion point

#1

The animated screenshots of Sublime show a vertical line cursor at the insertion point. I have tried this on Macs and PCs and neither displays a cursor at the insertion point.

There does not appear to be any setting that controls this nor is it mentioned in the doc.

The app is pretty useless to me without a cursor. The block-cursor package does not solve the problem.

What do I have to do to make it visible

I’ve never seen the cursor not be there. The color of the cursor is defined by the Color Scheme. Have you changed that? Have you installed any plugins that may be changing the color scheme without notifying you? Perhaps the cursor is the same/similar color to the background. You should try to give more information that “It just doesn’t work”.

Yes, you’re right. I was trying to tweak the inverted theme without any doc about the names and descriptions of the properties. I was looking for cursor and didn’t imagine that it would be called caret since cursor is | and caret is ^.

thaks for the help. Perhaps maybe a bit more doc would help also?
