I think you'll find the answer here : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1314 ... ime-text-2

And if you want more, you should use the plugin Origami : https://github.com/SublimeText/Origami

So I found out how to do it in Sublime Text 2 but I cannot find the main menu file for sublime text 3. Any ideas on where I can find this?

I am facing the same problem. It would be great if someone can shed more light on this.

The main menu file is a bit harder to find in Sublime Text 3, because it's hidden in a zip file somewhere I don't remember.
I do recommend Origami, though - it'll let you do this without messing with any files.
