Sublime Forum

Accidentally hidden menu bar

#1

This may be very easy to re-appear, I’m fairly new to sublime text 2.

So I was browsing around the menus to find useful shortcuts for faster development, then suddenly click and the menu bar was gone, fortunately I knew that Sublime has
a forum section that deals with n00b’s like me.

Here’s a screenshot to explain things allot better: Screenshot - Click me!

When you press alt, the menus are shown (focus actually), it works on almost every program.

Just learned about Subline and install V3 on Ubuntu 16.04 to check it out. Your flexibility and plugins remind me of jEdit which I used for many years.

I’m new to Ubuntu ( less that a year) but have not noticed the loss of the menu bar when in “full screen” mode of other applications as much as my brief use of Subline trying to install Plugins. It seemed like every time I got into “plugin control” the menu bar disappeared.

What causes the menu bar to disappear, something I am doing or bug on Ubuntu?

Thanks in advance,
Roy
