I have *.sublime-project and *.sublime-workspace files in my project, and when I set them up, they worked instantly, e.g. hiding unwanted files from the left hand tree. Since that first time, when I open the project they are not having the desired effect.

Any ideas why?

I have found that simply opening the folder in Sublime won’t work. You have to open the project. I guess the difference is that Sublime doesn’t know that the folder is acctually a project.
