Sublime Text 3 disallowing me to set default highlighting

#1

So I’ve been using Sublime 2 for quite a long time, no issues, but then (god knows why) I decided to get this buggy Sublime 3.
After I installed it, it was working all fine until I tried to use custom highlighting.
So I downloaded gmod lua highlight plugin (which I used in sublime 2 aswell) and when I do “View > Syntax > Open all with current extension as > Gmod lua” then the current file changes all fine, but the next lua files open have default lua highlighting again which is extremely annoying, because I have to open each file and do “View > Syntax > Gmod Lua” on each of them and I’ve got about 80 files open at the same time.

I second this. It would be great if this were fixed.
