"save_on_focus_lost" focus bug

#1

Hello, I have tried Sublime Text builds 3047 and 3052, but one annoyance is making me fall back to 2221. I use the “save_on_focus_lost” feature, and the following behavior is occurring.

  • Open two files in two different columns.
  • Edit one file, but do not save.
  • Click in the column where the second file is open.

At this point, build 2221 saves the first file and switches focus to the second file. 3xxx, however, only saves the first file but fails to switch focus to the new column. This often makes me mistakenly type text in the first file since there is little visual hint of the currently focused column.

I admit this is a picky bug, but in my case it outweighs the advantages of switching to Sublime Text 3.

I know this doesn’t actually solve your problem, but maybe it could help?

oh wow, I hadn’t attributed this to the safe on focus lost setting. This has been bugging me for weeks. Nice catch

And adzenith, that plugin is cool. It will definitely help.
