Auto-hiding menu bar

#1

In Windows 7, the Windows Explorer no longer shows a menu bar by default. Instead, it is shown when you press the Alt button. I’d like to propose this same feature for Sublime text, since I rarely, if ever, use the menu bar. This frees up space to show an extra line of code and it gets rid of the only interface component that is styled by Windows rather than the application (this is less glaring in Windows 7 than in XP, but still), while still providing access to it should it ever be needed.

I wouldn’t add this as a default, just as an configurable option.
You don’t want to scare new users, who’ll open the editor and literally see nothing in front of them, and no menu either.

I figured it would be self-evident, but yeah, naturally the default would be to show the menu bar and to have an option to turn it off.

It would be nice to have “alt” toggle the menu in full screen as well.
Currently, you can hide the menu bar in full screen mode, but “alt” won’t bring it up - you need to supply your own keybinding
