jps, I hope youâll reconsider your position on an ARM build. I know several developers who are using Chromebooks, and some who use a Raspberry Pi. All of them were previously ST users but have now had to learn how to use something like Vim or Emacs. The number of users wanting an ARM build might be small now, but with tablets and phones becoming more powerful itâs only a matter of time before people want to start using them as their main dev machine. Ubuntu Touch is a prime example of this movement.
Best regards.
For what itâs worth, geany is an alternative that works on Crouton with Ubuntu installed for Samsung Chromebook Arm. Not Sublime Text, but works.
Also just registered an account to say that an ARM build of Sublime Text 2/3 would be great. I currently have a few devices on which it is impossible to run this program (Raspberry Pi/Chromebook), and with it being closed sourced software itâs not like I can just recompile it.
In my experience it generally is not hard to cross-compile to an extra processor architecture if youâre not doing anything funky either.
just wanted to say that i also would like to buy a license for sublime-text for teh arm (armhf, ubuntu-raring) architecture! i got my quadcore arm ready for laravel developmentâŚ
so pls guys, dont let us wait any longerâŚ
THX!

Another reason to invest time in ARM port
To jump on the back of this, a build for SurfaceRT users would be cool. Obviously RT would have to be jailbroken for it to work.
+1 for an ARM build.
Message to the âsales teamâ: I just purchased a license, so now I am customer. Hope you care about me!
I love SB itâs the best editor ever! I am a licensed user since nov. 2012 and I would love to see a ARM build.
+1 ARM build!
Thatâs closed source vendor lock-in biting you in the ass. Now that youâre hooked, you have to beg for platform support.

How many free software libraries were used in the development of Sublime? Switch to free software and compile for ARM any time you want.
Switching from x86 to ARM so I need and vote for the ARM version Sublime Text ⌠until an ARM version ST will not exist, my license will be unused ⌠and I will have to find and use a different editor
Another request for an armhf architecture (Raspberry Pi) build here, please⌠I ask also for all the other Raspberry community fans addicted to Sublime Text!
+1 ARM build!
Iâve been using sublime text on my macbook. I love it. Itâs become my main app for coding. Having an arm package for ubuntu would be great, as I could then use it on my Chromebook.
+1 arm build

I tend to agree. Thereâs just about nothing in the open source repositories that wonât Just Compile on ARM. The developers claiming itâs too much time for too little return is a cop out.
Add my +1 to the request for an ARM port, but Iâm not buying your excuse. Grab yourself a $35 Pi, compile a Linux version, and recover your $35 investment with the very first sale. Youâll get tons of publicity for doing it, because the Raspberry Pi is a very very hot topic nowadays, and youâll get a ton of very young users who will learn to love your app from a young age and continue to promote it for years to come. Itâs a no brainer in my book. Just do it.
Hello,
Just adding another +1 for an ARM build, I am also another already licensed user of sublime text.
I already have a sublime text 2 licence. Been Using sublime text 3 for a while now. I am planning to buy Sublime Text 3, but I need arm7 support for my HP11 chromebook running Ubuntu via Crouton.
thanks!
+1 Arm
I too am a happy paying customer. I love Sublime Text, and since I just bought a Chromebook for working in the wilderness, Iâd greatly appreciate an ARM build! Even if it came with the stipulation that it wouldnât be officially supported until enough people were using it.
I am so excited to code while camping, and I hope to do it with Sublime Text!
Thanks for Sublime Text and for considering an ARM build!
