Frictionless horizontal sliding in vertical sections of a text file where lines are short causes
frequent accidents of sliding into the empty space to the right.

Horizontal scrolling friction should probably smoothly vary based on the right-side envelope of the text in view.

This sounds interesting, can you please extend? I did not complete understand, but I dislike these auto-horizontal scrolling when moving cursor, or clicking in a short line, is about that?
