Error running sublime

#1

I have just downloaded and installed Sublime Text 1.04 and when I double click the icon it created, it says “Unable to mount data directory, exiting”

I’m running windows XP sp2.

The only thing I can think of is it doesn’t like the fact that my user folder is actually on a network drive? (this is set up automatically through my active directory policies)

I’ll take a look, but in the meantime running with an explicit --data path, sublimator mentioned, should work.

Similarly my user folder is on a network path
it is only available as a UNC path (\server\etc\etc\me)
tried from the command line & batach file explicitly, and with a SET reference, and even literally with $DATAPATH; all with & without quotes

I am probably still doing something daft, but I would appreciate a suggestion, as to what to do…

This problem is fixed in the beta version, at http://www.sublimetext.com/beta
