Bug writing HTML comments

#1

Hey guys,

Just a quick one - in an HTML file where I have this

I can’t insert a new comment in the second line - instead, the beginning of the first, and end of the last comments are removed. If I add a line break after , it works fine. Seems like a bug to me!

Could you please clarify what you mean?

I don’t quite understand what the problem you’re having is. Perhaps show a picture of your problem?

Sure. Given this text:

I hit CMD-/ on line 5 and I end up with this:

Instead of what I expected, which would be this:

(I would really have expected a new comment, after “Comment here:” but commenting the whole line isn’t too bad. Any time I hit CMD-/ in a file with a comment at the top and bottom, it breaks both comments. Curiously, adding a line-break after line 9 fixes this behaviour but is not ideal.

Sir, please don’t hate the internet! It is not it’s fault, it’s the victim, not the culprit.
