ST3. Side Bar folders do not render properly (screenshots)

#1

Started having a rendering problem with Build 3054 (on Ubuntu 13.10, dual monitors).

The FOLDERS Side Bar will not render properly. For example, I’ll “expand” a folder so I can see the contents within it, but will find that the display doesn’t update with the folder contents:

Then, I’ll move the Side Bar divider, to make it smaller, and the display will update, but is corrupt:

UPDATE: 3055 does not resolve this issue.

UPDATE2: in 3056, when I first load a project, everything seems fine. Then if I switch projects, the problem returns.

Rendering issues with build 3059 on Linux

Build 3059, I have the same problem on Windows… when I switch projects, I cannot expand folders. I have to shut down all editor windows and reopen to be able to expand.

having same problem on Ubuntu 3.5.0-46-generic with Sublime 3 build 3059

only folders are displayed, first two seem to expand without any content in it (invisible)
all others stay the same (arrow to the right)
sometimes filenames appear and overlap on their folders
when randomly clicking on the sidebar, some random files are opened (but are invisible in the sidebar)

I had a similar issue with folders displaying incorrectly.

What worked for me was deleting the .sublime-workspace file and then open the project again.

after build 3066(Sublime Text 3) same happens on OS X Yosemite. Here the steps:
1 - Open a Sublime Text 3 without project(empty window)
2 - Open any project, that works fine
3 - Open another project from the same projects window that you just open. There you go, the side bar from the last project you just open do not work properly.

Having the same issue, but cannot find a solution… Anyone knows how to fix it, or is it really a bug? If so, is it logged already as one?

EDIT:

Ah, it’s already logged multiple times and there seems to be a workaround mentioned in this forum: http://www.sublimetext.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12451&start=20

It says that if you make sure all your project use either ‘Hide Open Files’ or ‘Show Open Files’, you don’t have the issue (tested and for me it also works). If you have some projects set to ‘Hide’ and others set to ‘Show’, while switching it will trigger the bug.

Tried it myself and after setting them all to ‘Hide Open Files’ I no longer have the issue…

Cheers!
