Non-fullscreen Distraction Free Mode

Non-fullscreen Distraction Free Mode

Postby mvnjpy on Fri Jan 10, 2014 8:24 am

I'm wondering if anyone else thinks this would be a useful feature to have. I use Sublime to edit just text files now (Markdown syntax, I guess), and sometimes I want to have a webpage/pdf open as well while typing. It'd be nice to the same thing as distraction-free mode (no tabs, preview, sidebar and text centered) but without having to full screen. Anyone else think this might be good?

I thought it's a great idea and found myself needing it quite often. so I built a plugin to do that

aziz: I can't find your plugin on package control?

I've not put it on package control yet. I'll do it after testing it for a couple of days. Just finished it a couple of hours ago.
In the meantime you can install it manually if you're interested.
