Mark search occurrences on scrollbar like Chrome and Eclipse

#1

I started with Sublime and I love it, there’s one feature I really miss:
In Chrome and Eclipse (And Firefox via a plugin), all search occurrences are marked on the scrollbar. This is incredibly useful because you can easily scroll to any occurrence, see how many they are in total and so on.
Here’s an example: visualisingdata.com/index.ph … alisation/

The Word Highlight plugin for Sublime marks occurrences on the left gutter, which is not the same thing because you can’t see all the occurrences at once.

The second-best option would be to make the occurrences stand out more on the minimap. I tried several color schemes but there’s just not enough differentiation make make it easy to jump where needed.

No, you can not do this with a plugin (unless you are hooking into OS libraries and drawing stuff yourself).

I know this is a old thread, but I’m looking for such a feature for sublime text. Is it now possible to create a plugin that can do that?
