I just downloaded the most recent beta version of Sublime Text version 20100913.
Looking throughout I noticed that there are commas between
every character in the tab trigger in the snippets menu. I was wondering if
this is normal. Thank you for your time. Sorry if this has been asked before
I searched the forums and found nothing.

This is normal, and is presumably to show that the keyboard shortcut involves pressing consecutive keys instead of simultaneous ones.
A more intuitive way might be to replace, e.g.:
d, e, f, Tab
with something like:

Just in case you missed it 1.4 is the released version of this (newer than the beta you have).
