Writing to output panel

Hi,

Is there a way to write to the output panel ? Maybe getting a view reference on it ?

I'm writing a sort of custom build tool with the ST api and I need a way to show errors in my build process.

Unfortunately, there's no API for this. I hope to address this in Sublime Text X.

Your best option is to create a new view, and write the output data there. You can set the view to be a scratch view, so that you won't be prompted to save it when closing.
