Find Highlighting

I am evaluating Sublime and like it so far. I'm coming from Scite. I like the Find Highlight feature, but the highlight only draws a frame, which for me is hardly a highlight. Is there a way to add a background color? Also, is there a way to do multi-line searches?

ctrl+enter will insert a newline into the find panel.

Also, if regex mode is on, you can use \n and other character classes as well
