TM to SLT Mapping?

#1

It would be great as an evaluation guide to see a TextMate to Sublime Text X feature mapping. Not just for marketing/comparison reasons but also because it would answer the questions about “tm does this, does SLT?”

A couple of examples are:

TM makes it trivial to run a shell command on a file or text selection. SLT probably does the same, but it wasn’t obvious how.

Running tests from inside TM has evolved into a huge productivity boost. Not without some warts, but again, not clear how to accomplish within SLT.

Mailing list. Is there one?

Ruby support. I spend most of every day thinking in Ruby. If nit, then Javascript or some HTML template language. It’d be zoo cool to eliminate yet another context switch by making the scripting language pluggable. Then people who think in Erlang can script in Erlang and people who think in Ruby can script in Ruby. Or is this an already implemented feature I missed?

Just my initial thoughts.

This would probably be a great blog post “switching from textmate to sublime - a to z”.
