Deactivate TAB auto-completion feature in ST 2 Build 2032

#1

I installed the newest ST 2 build a few hours ago, but only managed to see the new auto-completion feature that allows to insert the best-matching completion by hitting TAB a few minutes ago.

Currently, I’m working on a Haskell project, and have both the keywords in and instance in a file. When I want to add an indentation after the in keyword to align it with the appertaining let keyword, the auto-completion feature inserts instance instead of an indentation.

My question now is, if there’s a possibility to deactivate the auto-completion by TAB-key feature? That would be awesome.

Thanks in advance

There isn’t yet, but I’ll put a setting in for the next version.

If you happen to be on OS X, then you do have the option using Option+Tab to insert an explicit tab character in the mean time.

Unfortunately, I’m on Windows, but that’s not a problem; I’ll switch back to 1.4 until a new version of ST 2 is pushed. Many thanks for your fast reply, and for putting this item onto your ToDo list for the next version; I’m definitely looking forward to it. Keep up the good work!
