Copy/save with syntax highlighting format

Copy/save with syntax highlighting format

Postby oats on Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:10 pm

Is it possible to copy or save a file to include the syntax highlighting format? Sometimes it would be very useful to preserve colors, rather than just text-only copy.

Examples include:
1) pasting a section of code to a Word .doc
2) publishing code to a webpage or email
3) printing code with colors

That seems a nice piece of software. Still, a plugin for ST would be nice.

I agree. Especially printing from within ST would be great.

I would very much like to see this functionality.

See viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4699 (in Ideas and Feature Requests) for related discussion.

There are a number of differences between the two packages, the main one being that ExportHtml can keep your ST theme colours. SublimeHighlight uses the Pygments online feature. But, of course, I'm slightly biased ;)
