The akalias.net domain where docs were stored has expired

#1

NOTICE: This domain name expired on 04/29/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion.

So any doc on the sublimetext.com that references this domain no longer works.

Like sublimetext.com/support’s link to

“Getting Started With Sublime is a highly recommended, in progress, set of user supplied documentation.”

for example.

If it has moved, can someone please tell me where it’s gone or fix the link on the Support page?

Thanks,

S

I installed the ZenCoding package yesterday and discovered that …

a) it phones home. I mean, wtf, a package for an editor sends out reports about my system to it’s creator?! Still can’t believe this.

b) the target is the domain mentioned here, so it’s most likely not even the package creator who receives this information anymore. (Thats how I found this thread.)

You right, look somewhat strange.

Maybe there’s a good reason for doing that, but I really dislike this kind of behavior from software on my system.
Collecting data from users must be done with their agreement.

I was trying to collect some info about unicode path names on windows.

I knew I was doing something slightly dubious but my curiosity got the better of me :unamused:

Just excised that code path.
