Using Sublime Text 3 for OSX (Build 3083). The default theme Monokai looks very good. I just wish the sidebar (showing file system) would use the same dark color scheme. This would make the UI more consistent. There are custom themes that partly work, but nothing works perfectly.

That’s a good idea. I think we will see improvements like this in a near future, but is all in hands of jps. For me, is a total +1.

You might try looking at Theme - Soda from package control. This should compliment the default monokai (dark soda) color scheme pretty well.

I agree that the default theme could use some love.
